Santa on the Square

Santa on the Square is hosted on the day after Thanksgiving. Santa will arrive downtown in a Fire Truck, and will immediately light the Christmas tree located on the Court House Square. After the lighting of the Christmas tree, children are invited to sit on Santa’s lap and red him their Christmas list! This annual tradition in Downtown Newnan reminds us all of the importance of the holiday season: fostering hope, charity, forgiveness and kindness. This Litter-Free, Smoke-Free event is free to the public, and welcomes children of all ages.
